After california and chicago, i started on my big trip: 6 weeks to go to, around, and from ALASKA!! thus far..

We spent the 4th of July in iowa. Turns out, fireworks are illegal in iowa.

When we really got on the road, we stopped for the night in Lexington, NE. In an attempt to find a good camping spot, my lovely car got stuck :( After an hour or so of pushing, finding boards, flooring the gas, and cussing a ton, we finally got her out.

We went through Laramie, WY, a place i've wanted to go foooorever.
