We started out the day seeing buried cars in Amarillo, Texas at the Cadillac Ranch. We even spray painted some.
Eventually, we made it into New Mexico.
We stumbled upon a historic marker of a church on a reservation. its the san jose de la laguna mission church built in the early 1700s.
After getting an oil change for my car in albuquerque, we made it to arizona.
Before settling for the evening, we took a ride to meteor crater (about 5-7 miles off the highway). Unfortunately, it was closed when we got there, but we did manage to take this picture off the top of the mountain. On the way back to the highway, we even saw a jack rabbit!
